Start-up
3.4.2 Pendulum frame
• Lower the pendulum frame (1) of the forage harvester
all the way.
• Align the pendulum frame (1) of the forage harvester
horizontally.
• Locking hooks (2) must be opened. If necessary,
open them with the locking lever (3).
• Disconnect the spring-loaded plug (5), pull the
locking lever (3) from the locking pin (4) and swing it
forward.
• The pendulum frame (1) must be unlocked and the
locking pin (6) must be in position II (unlocked).
3.4.3 Coupling
• Drive the forage harvester up to the maize header so
that the pendulum frame (1) stands just in front of
the adapter frame (2) and the holding bolts (4) are
located against the stop surfaces of the holding
claws (3).
• Raise the pendulum frame (1) with lifting hydraulics
until the locking hooks (5) lie in the pendulum frame
holder (6) on the adapter frame.
• Stop the machine.
