10.12.3 Aligning the Cutter Bar

Oil level check
• Align the cutter bar using a spirit level (1).
Crosswise
• Lay the spirit level on top of the cutting disc hub parallel to the direction of travel.
Lengthwise
• Lay the spirit level (1) on top of two mower discs.
• Allow the machine to run briefly. Do not leave the driver’s cab until the cutting discs/blade
drums have come to a complete stop

Check the oil level before every use
• Remove the oil level inspection screw (1) from the cutting disc hub
• The oil level must be up to the bore hole. If required, top up the oil (SAE 90)
• Screw in the oil level inspection screw (1) again and tighten securely
