6.4 Adapting universal shaft

ü The machine is connected to the tractor, refer to page38.
Lower machine into working position.
Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to page23.
Disassemble the universal shaft.
Install one half each (1, 2) on tractor side and on machine side.
Shorten section tubes and guard tubes.
INFORMATION: Coverage of at least 200 mm (shift length) must be ensured for the special
section tubes and guard tubes in every operating position. For further information, please refer
to the operating instructions of the universal shaft manufacturer.
Check the covering of section tubes and guard tubes.
