8.6 Mowing
Preparing to mow
ü The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page23.
ü All points listed in the chapter "Start-up" have been fulfilled, refer to page38.
ü The stop cock for the front hydraulics of the tractor is open.
ü The stop cock on the hydraulic hose(1+) is open.
ü The machine is in working position, .
ü The safety devices have been folded down, refer to page45.
ü For version with “support jack”: The support jack is inserted, refer to page46.
Before driving into the crop, engage the tractor PTO shaft in neutral gear and slowly
increase the speed to the rated speed of the machine.
Mowing
Drive into the crops.
Check the mower relief while mowing.
For a clean cutting pattern, adapt the driving speed and the cutting speed to the operating
conditions (ground conditions, crop conditions, height, density).
INFORMATION
During mowing:
Leave the control unit (1+) in the float position.
Leave the control unit for front hydraulics in neutral position.
