10.2 Increasing/reducing ground pressure

The hydraulic cylinder (1) is used to adjust the ground pressure of the cutterbar to the local
conditions. In order to protect the sward the load on the cutterbar must be relieved so that it
does not jump when mowing, yet does not leave any skid marks on the ground.
ü The mower is in the basic setting, refer to page42.
Pull up and open the stop cock(2).
Using the single-acting control unit(1+), set the pressure to 50–100 bar and check on the
pressure gauge(3).
Close the stop cock (2).
10.3 Setting high-cut skids
For version with “high-cut skids”

The cutting height can be increased by means of high cut skids. The high-cut skids must be
mounted under the cutting discs that run next to the mower drums.
ü The machine is in the transport position.
ü The mower is/the mowers are safely supported,refer to page23.
ü The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page23.
Insert high-cut skid (3) into sliding skid and screw it.
