Mounting the tine loss prevention feature
The tine loss prevention feature for the twin-spring tines
consists of:
— a cable
— two cable clamps each with
— two flat round screws, washers and
self locking nuts
Fix the cable (1) with the cable clamps (2) to the
swather disk tines (3).
The cable must be located behind the
swather disk tines relative to the direction
of movement. The cable clamp nuts (4)
must face outwards.
• It is essential for all care, maintenance, repair and assembly work on the rotary swather
that the PTO shaft is switched off.
• Shut down the engine and remove the ignition key.
• Secure tractor and rotary swather against rolling away!
8.2 Chain for limiting depth of
lower link arms (Accessory)
• Fix chains (1) with hollow pin (3) and washer (2) to
the lower link arm adapter.
• Attach chain hooks (4) to tractor.
• Select chain length according to the max. required
lowering depth.
