6.14 RACE-ON button

The RACE-ON button

is fitted on the right side of the combi-
nation switch.
Info
The RACE-ON button performs the ignition lock function on
this vehicle.
The steering can only be locked if the handlebar is turned
to the left.
Possible states
• RACE-ON button in the basic position.
• RACE-ON button pressed briefly – Pressing briefly switches
the ignition on and unlocks the steering lock or switches the
ignition off. The RACE-ON indicator lamp lights up briefly
once for confirmation.
• RACE-ON button pressed and held – Pressing and holding
switches the ignition off and locks the steering lock.
