6.3 Machine frame mounting with centering
Description The machine frame mounting (>>> Fig. 6-4 ) with centering is used for install-
ing the robot on a steel structure provided by the customer or on a carriage of
a KUKA linear unit. The mounting surface for the robot must be machined and
of an appropriate quality. The robot is fastened to the machine frame mounting
option using 3 hexagon bolts. Two locating pins are used for centering.
The machine frame mounting assembly consists of:

Hexagon bolts with conical spring washers
