Ribbon Controller
In Factory Programs the Ribbon controls pitch bend by default. To use the Ribbon
controller, press it and slide your nger left and right to change the value. e assignment
can be adjusted in Program Edit Mode.
In Factory Programs, the Ribbon is assigned to the Aux pitch bend parameter by default. e
Ribbon will bend the pitch up or down from the current pitch, no matter where the ribbon
is pressed. When the Ribbon is released, the pitch will return to a value of 64 (no pitch
bend).
In Program Mode, when the ribbon is assigned to other parameters, the Ribbon will send
MIDI values up and down from a value of 64, no matter where the ribbon is pressed. When
the Ribbon is released, the parameter will return to a value of 64. For more Ribbon options,
use Multi Mode, and edit the Ribbon settings on the Multi Edit Controls page, for details
see “Ribbon” on page 7-16.
ARPEGGIATOR Section
ARP and LATCH Buttons
Press the ARP button to turn the Arpeggiator On or O. When the Arpeggiator is On, the
ARP button lights up.
e Arpeggiator allows you to easily play arpeggios or note sequences by holding down a
chord or a single note. Each program can be saved with dierent arpeggiator settings. For
details on the Arpeggiator, see “The Arpeggiator (ARP) Page” on page 3-25.
With certain arpeggiator settings, pressing the LATCH button allows the arpeggiator to
continue playing after notes are released on the keyboard.
CC SEQ Button
Press the CC SEQ button to turn the CC Sequencer On or O. When the CC Sequencer is
On, the CC SEQ button lights up.
e CC Sequencer allows you to rhythmically modulate up to 4 program parameters (such as
lter frequency) based on preset or user patterns. For details on the CC Sequencer, see “The
CC Sequencer (CC SEQ) Page” on page 3-39.
TEMPO Section
Use the TEMPO section to set the tempo of the Arpeggiator, CC Sequencer, or the rate of
tempo synced FX (such as Delay). To set the tempo press the TAP button a few times at the
desired rate, or use the TEMPO knob.
