Chapter 3 Disassembly/Assembly
Introduction
There have been slight variations in the manufacture
of the PC88. Therefore, the following Disassembly/
Assembly instructions appear in three sections.
The first section covers the PC88 units manufactured
with EMI Shields. This section describes opening the PC88
and the removal and replacement of the printed circuit
boards mounted onto the Top Cover Assembly.
The second section covers the PC88 units
manufactured with an Enclosure Support Wall. This
section also describes opening the PC88 and the removal
and replacement of the printed circuit boards mounted
onto the Top Cover Assembly.
The third section covers the bottom chassis, Keyboard
and Mod Wheels, and is common to both types of PC88
units.
