Detection conditions
• The polygon motor ready signal (MOTRDYN) does not become ready (L level) within a specified time after the polygon
motor drive signal (POLONN) is turned on (L level).
Corrective measures
Is there any
damage to the harness
(S02819) between the main PWB
and the laser scanner unit or improper
connection at the YC8
connector on the main
PWB?
Is the voltage
at pin No. 5
(+24V3) of the main PWB
connector YC8 24
V DC?
Is the
frequency at pin No. 1
(POLCLK) of the main PWB
connector YC8 2.2
KHz?
Does the level
at pin No. 3
(POLONN) of the main PWB
connector YC8 change
from H to L?
Turn on the printer, connect a tester
or an oscilloscope, and measure as
follows.
Print a status page.
If any problem is found, repair
or replace it.
Replace the engine/high
voltage PWB. (See page 1-
6-26.) If the error is not
cleared, replace the main
PWB. (See page 1-6-25.)
Print a status page.
Replace the engine/high
