Resetting Toner Status
To ensure the correct information displays for the toner status, the toner gauge must be reset after
replacing the toner container.
Note To ensure the correct toner status displays, do not perform this procedure unless you have replaced
the toner container.

Press the System Menu/Counter key. The Sys. Menu/Count screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Common
Setting and press the Enter key. The Common
Setting screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Toner
Setting and press the Enter key. The Toner
Setting screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Toner Gauge
Rset and press the Enter key. Are you sure? is
displayed.

Press the left select key. The message display shows
Completed and returns to the Toner Setting
screen.

Gauge Reset)
The toner counter is reset and the amount of toner remaining
will be printed out on the Status Page as 100 %.
