Selecting Paper Size and Media Type
You can select the paper source using the operator panel, from which the machine feeds paper as
the default. If an optional paper feeder(s) is installed, it is also available for the default paper source.

Press the System Menu/Counter key. The Sys. Menu/Count screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Common
Setting and press the Enter key. The Common
Setting screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select Orig./Paper
Set and press the Enter key. The Orig./Paper Set
screen is displayed.

Press the S key or the T key to select the desired
paper feed source and press the Enter key.

Select the paper size and type that will be used in the cassettes or the MP tray.
To register the information for cassette 1 or cassette 2, proceed to Cassettes.
To register the information for the MP tray, proceed to MP Tray on page 5-38.

Once the Orig./Paper Set screen is displayed,
press the S key or the T key to select Cassette1
Set and press the Enter key. The Cassette1 Set
screen is displayed.
