Description
Sets the time of period cooling fan motor 1 is driven.
Purpose
To be executed as required.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Change the setting using the cursor up/down keys.
3. Press the start key. The value is set.

Turning the exposure lamp on
Description
Turns the exposure lamp on.
Purpose
To check the exposure lamp.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Press the start key. The exposure lamp lights.
3. To turn the exposure lamp off, press the stop/clear key.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Adjusting the shading position
Description
Changes the shading position of the scanner.
Purpose
Used when white lines continue to appear longitudinally on the image after the shading plate is cleaned. This
is due to flaws or stains inside the shading plate. To prevent this problem, the shading position should be
changed so that shading is possible without being affected by the flaws or stains.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Change the setting using the cursor up/down keys.
Increasing the setting moves the shading position toward the machine left, and decreasing it moves the
position toward the machine right.
3. Press the start key. The value is set.
Supplement
While this maintenance item is being executed, copying from an original is available in the interrupt copying
mode.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
