3. Remove the heat roller separation claws from
the upper fixing cover.
4. Replace the heat roller separation claws and
refit all the removed parts.

(3) Detaching and refitting the press roller
Follow the procedure below to replace the press roller.
Procedure
1. Remove the fixing unit (see page 1-6-36).
2. Remove the upper fixing cover (see page 1-
6-36).
3. Remove the front and rear press springs.

4. Detach the press roller from the fixing unit.
5. Replace the press roller and refit all the
removed parts.
