Use the procedure below to select the alternative emulation.
1 Press the System Menu Key.
2 Press [Printer] > [Change] of Emulation >
[KPDL(Auto)] > [Alt Emulation].
3 Select the desired alternative emulation and then
press [OK].
4 Press [OK].
Setting of KPDL error report
When an error has occurred during printing in KPDL emulation mode, set whether or not the error report is
output. The default setting is Off (not output).
Use the procedure below to specify the KPDL error report setting.
1 Press the System Menu Key.
2 Press [Printer] > [Change] of Emulation > [KPDL] or
[KPDL(Auto)] > [KPDL Error Report].
3 Press [On] or [Off] and then press [OK].
4 Press [OK].
Color Setting
You can choose whether status reports are printed in color or black and white.
Use the procedure below to select the color setting.
1 Press the System Menu key.
2 Press [Printer] and then [Change] of Color Setting.
3 Select [Color] or [Black & White].
4 Press [OK].
