Close the front left upper cover [A] and the front right upper cover [B].

Turn the main and the power switch on.

Enter maintenance mode.

Select [Waste Ink Pump] in U030 Motor operation check, and press [Start] key to start
pump and press [Stop] key to stop.
• Perform the pump operation min.60 seconds and max.90 seconds.
• Collect the waste ink on the tray to the waste ink tank

Run U002 Factory default setting, open DP [B], hold up the triangle mark side of the
optical lock cover [A] and slide it then remove it.

Attach the cover [A] in the opposite direction and fix the scanner carriage.
(Place triangle symbol to rear for lock position.)
