Preventing Paper Jams (Cassette 1 to 4)
If a paper jam occurs in the paper feeder, or a paper jam occurs with a particular type of paper, adjust the paper feed
speed.

Display the screen.
[System Menu/Counter] key > [Device Settings] > [Paper Feeding] > "Cassette Settings"
[Cassette 1 (to 4) Settings] > [Paper Catalog]

Select the paper brand > [ ] (information icon) > [Main Unit
Paper Feed Speed]

Configure the settings.
Select [Normal] or [Low]. If paper jams frequently occur, select [Low].
Preventing Paper Jams (Cassette 5 to 8)
Adjust if double feeding or non-feeding occurs when feeding paper from an optional paper feeder (Cassettes 5 to 8).
