Before each use, turn on the plancha and allow it to heat for
10 minutes on high.

The white indicator light switches on when the appliance is powered,
meaning when the temperature control button is no longer in the
"°" position. The red indicator light switches on as the appliance
heats up. The white indicator light switches on again when the
requested temperature has been reached.

Brush the cooking surface with oil.
*
Important: do not cut foods directly on the cooking surface
as this could leave deep scratches on the surface.
*
Do not overheat the cooking surface as this could cause it to
turn black and make it difcult to clean.
*
Remember to empty the drip drawer regularly to prevent it
from overowing.
*
Adjust the thermostat to the appropriate temperature for the
type, size and thickness of food you wish to cook and to suit your
cooking preferences.
HERE ARE SOME RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SETTING
THE THERMOSTAT TO COOK SPECIFIC FOODS:

Red meat: 250°C
*
White meat or brochettes: 240°C
*
Duck breasts: 240°C for 10 min on the skin side and then 200°C
for 5 min on the other side
*
Fish (whole): 260°C and then reduce temperature to 220°C
*
Fish (lets), squid, prawns, scallops, sh brochettes, salmon: 220°C
*
Vegetables: 220°C
*
Fruit: 150°C
AFTER USE
*
To turn off the appliance, turn the thermostat down to the
lowest setting.
*
Allow the appliance to cool and then unplug the cord.
*
You may then wrap the cord around the cord winder on the rear
of the appliance for ease of storage.
LONG-TERM STORAGE
If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, we strongly
recommend storing it in a dry place.
