Using the flower guard
The grass trimmer is equipped with a flower guard that can be lowered to push flowers away from
the cutting line so they are protected (Fig.10). The flower guard is an indicator of the maximum
cutting range of the line.
Trimming
1. Hold the tool as shown. what figure are you referencing.(Fig.11)
2. Gently swing the trimmer from side to side .(Fig. 12)
3. When cutting long grass, work in stages from the top. Take small cuts. Keep the tool away from
hard objects and delicate plants.
4. If the tool starts running slowly, reduce the load.

trimmer inclined forward slightly when cutting. Cut tall grass by a series of levels from top to bottom.
