If possible, store the battery pack in a dry, well-ventilated place.
Protect it from moisture and water.
Always store your Lectric eBike battery pack in a location that:
• Is in a room with a smoke alarm;
• Is away from combustible or easily ammable objects; and
• Is away from heat sources.
Storage Conditions
Battery Sleep Mode
Leaving the battery permanently connected to the charger is
not recommended.
As the battery pack ages, capacity will diminish and the battery pack
will eventually need to be replaced. A signicantly reduced operating
period after charging indicates that the battery pack is worn out
and must be replaced. You may replace it yourself by purchasing a
replacement battery pack from Lectric eBikes.
When the bike has not been powered on for 48 hours, the battery
pack(s) will enter sleep mode. Sleep mode minimizes self-discharge
and maximizes the life of the battery. In sleep mode, the battery
will not supply power to the bike and you will not be able to turn on
the display. To deactivate sleep mode, push the charge indicator
button found on the battery pack(s). The charge level indicator on the
battery pack will illuminate when you press the charge level indicator
button. Once sleep mode is deactivated, your battery will be able to
supply power to the bike once again.
