Overview

The SPA series professional loudspeaker system is a versatile audio device designed for various applications, offering a range of input options, control features, and connectivity for both professional and casual users. This user's manual provides essential information for safe operation, setup, and maintenance of the system.

Function Description

The SPA series loudspeaker system serves as an active (powered) speaker, meaning it has a built-in amplifier and does not require an external power amplifier. It is designed to deliver high-quality audio output for public address, music playback, and other sound reinforcement needs. The system integrates a digital media player, allowing for direct playback from various sources without the need for additional equipment.

Usage Features

The loudspeaker system offers a comprehensive set of features for flexible usage:

  • Input Options:

    • SD Input: A dedicated connector for auxiliary signal input and MP3 playback from SD cards.
    • USB Input: A USB connector for auxiliary signal input and MP3 playback from USB drives.
    • MIC INPUT: An XLR input designed for direct microphone connection, suitable for public address. It does not provide phantom power.
    • RCA INPUT: Stereo RCA inputs for connecting external audio sources such as CD players, digital media players, or mixers. The output volume for these inputs is controlled by the Line Input volume knob.
    • LINE INPUT (XLR): An XLR line-level input for connecting line-level mixers or musical instruments. This input is also used for linking two speaker units together. The output volume is controlled by the Line Input volume knob.
    • MIX OUT: An XLR output that allows connection to another active (powered) speaker. The output level is controlled by the individual channel volume settings (Mic Input volume, Line Input volume, and Media Panel volume).
  • Bluetooth Connectivity:

    • The built-in audio player includes a Bluetooth receiver, enabling wireless music streaming from mobile devices like smartphones, tablets, and notebooks.
    • To connect, press the MODE button repeatedly until "N-BLU" appears on the display. Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device and pair with "BLUE" (indicated on your device's display). Once connected, "BLUE" will appear on the audio player's display, and music can be played from your mobile device.
    • The Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters.
    • Playback can be interrupted or continued using the [II] button, and tracks can be skipped forward or backward using the [ ] and [ ] buttons.
    • To switch back to USB or memory card playback, press the [MODE] button repeatedly.
    • The Bluetooth version is 2.1, operates at a frequency of 2.4G, and has a distance range of 20m.
  • Control Knobs:

    • MP3 VOLUME CONTROL: Adjusts the volume specifically for MP3 playback.
    • MASTER VOLUME CONTROL: Adjusts the overall total volume level of the system.
    • TREBLE CONTROL: Regulates the amount of treble applied to the output signal.
    • BASS CONTROL: Regulates the amount of bass applied to the output signal.
  • Indicators:

    • CLIP LED: This LED flashes red if the signal from any input or the Media Panel source is clipping. If this occurs, it is recommended to decrease the Mic Input volume knob, Line Level volume knob, or Media Panel volume knob.
    • Power LED: Indicates whether the speaker is powered on or off.
  • Power Management:

    • POWER SWITCH: Turns the system on or off. Always adjust the volume level to the lowest setting before turning on the power switch.
    • AC INPUT CONNECTOR: Connects the included power cord to the AC input.
  • Media Panel Functions (Front Panel & Remote):

    • MODE Button: Switches between Bluetooth, FM radio, SD, and USB modes.
    • Play/Pause [II] Button: Plays or pauses USB, SD, or Bluetooth sources. Press and hold for 2 seconds to initiate the preset auto-store function for FM radio, which scans and stores the strongest stations.
    • Repeat Button [ ]: Repeats the current playing USB or SD track (ONE) or all tracks (ALL).
    • Previous Track/Tune Down [ ] Button: Navigates through USB and SD tracks, plays the previous Bluetooth track, or tunes the radio down one preset. Holding the button seeks backward through radio stations.
    • Next Track/Tune Up [ ] Button: Plays the next USB, SD, or Bluetooth track, or tunes the radio up one preset. Holding the button seeks forward through radio stations.
    • Remote Control: A dedicated remote control provides convenient access to all media panel functions, including power, stop, mute, mode selection, EQ presets, track navigation, play/pause, and volume control. The remote uses a 3V DC CR2025 lithium button cell battery. For optimal performance, aim the remote straight at the front of the speaker.
