2.2 Safety Decals and Signs
Decal / sign
Explanation
Caution: Risk of injury.
Take the machine out of operation when you enter
the working area of the machine and do work with
livestock.
This sign must be placed at the entrance of every
corridor in the barn.
Danger: Risk of falling in an open hole
Risk of death or severe injury. Do not enter the area
of the dump pit.
The safety decal ‘open hole’ must be installed on top
of the dump pit.
Pause button position decal
This decal shows the position of the pause button on
the machine.
2.3 General Safety
• When locking up cows in the feed fence (e.g. for clawcare) on a location where the machine can drive
during a route or by accident, the machine must be switched off or taken out of operation to prevent
serious injury of cows! Locked up cows can not get away when the machine approaches.
• No calfs are allowed in the area where the machine is active.
• Make sure the fencing that prevents the machine from leaving the manure alley is in place and not
damaged or modified.
