The water pump pumps the water from the water bags to the nozzles. The water bags are hanging in the
tank, balanced over the axles of the drive motors. The bags have a combined capacity of 70 liters, enough
to finish one route.
Power System
The machine is battery-operated and after each route it returns to the charging station, which is installed
at a convenient point in the barn. This charging station also functions as the start and end point of each
route.
The power system stores and releases the electrical power for the driving mechanism, sensors and other
electronics. The power supply is a single rechargeable 12V lead acid AGM battery. Charging takes place at
the charging station. The power system has the following primary parts:
• Battery.
• Charging strips.
• ON/OFF switch.
• VIOB.
• Charging station.
4.2.2 Lely Control Plus Application
The machine is operated with an Android smartphone (a smartphone is not included). The smartphone
communicates with the machine via Bluetooth.
