7 Maintenance
Unexpected movement of the machine.
Risk of injury. When the machine is in operation mode, it operates autonomously and
can move unexpectedly. Before doing maintenance on the machine always take the
machine out of operation with the PAUSE button (see Put the Machine Into Operation
and take it Out of Operation with the PAUSE Button on page 6-5) or with the Lely
Control Plus app (see Put the Machine Into Operation and Take it Out of Operation
with the Lely Control Plus Application on page 6-6). This also implicates maintenance
to the water station, charging station and dump pit.
Electric shock.
When doing maintenance on the charging station, always disconnect and isolate the
electrical power supply to the charging station.
7.1 Maintenance Schedule
Maintenance
Frequency
Visually inspect the machine.
Weekly.
Clean the top air filter (see Clean the Top Air Filter
on page 7-3).
Every two weeks.
When the manure intake of the machine
deteriorates.
Clean the ultrasonic sensors (see Clean the
Ultrasonic Sensors on page 7-5).
Every two weeks.
When problems with the navigation start to
occur.
Clean the moving vehicle signs in the barn and
PAUSE button position decals.
When visibility of the signs is reduced.
Clean the dump pit and safeguards. When the machine can not release the manure.
Clean the walls and borders of the cubicles. When problems with the navigation start to occur.
Clean the charging strips of the machine and the
electrodes of the charging contact unit with a
steel brush.
When they are dirty.
When problems with battery charging occur.
When the machine does not stop at the
charging station.
