3 TRANSPORT
The SPLENDIMO FC mower can be transported in the tractor's
hydraulics.
Adjust the machine to the transport position as follows:
SPLENDIMO 280 FC:
Transport width 3.0 m:
- Fold up the safety guards on the front of the machine (fig. 6).
SPLENDIMO 320 FC:
Transport width 3.1 m:
- Fold up the safety guards on either side of the machine (fig. 7).
- Pull the elastic bands over the protective covers to prevent them
from flapping.
Transport width 3.0 m:
- Remove the safety guards from the sides of the machine.
- Turn the RH mowing disc square with the cutter bar and ensure
that the knife on the LH mowing disc is turned inwards.
- Lift the machine by fully retracting the hydraulic ram, followed by
the use of the tractor’s front hydraulics.
- Close the ball valve (fig. 8).
While driving in the transport position, the transport lock
must always be closed (by means of the valve).
- Use all lighting and warning signals required by law (or
other regulations prescribed by the authorities).
- Braking ability may decrease when using a tractor
equipped with brakes on the rear wheels only; this is
particularly so when another implement has not been
linked to the tractor’s rear hydraulics.
The machine is now ready for transport.
Never allow the PTO shaft to rotate when the machine is in
the transport position.
