- Adjust the ground pressure if the machine is not following the
ground contour properly or is leaving indentations in the ground
(see § 4.3).
- By narrowing the position of the conditioner crop inlet plate, the
crop speed increases, allowing the swath boards to control the
swath width more effectively (narrower).
A slip clutch prevents the machine from overloading.
6 DISMOUNTING FROM THE TRACTOR
Always place the machine on hard ground.
- Lower the mowing conditioner section onto the ground.
- Remove the chains of the protective cover from the tractor's
hydraulics.
SPLENDIMO 320 FC:
- Lift the three-point hitch until the locking pins can be fitted.
Place the locking pins in the holes before storing the machine
(fig. 16).
- Lower the machine to the ground using the tractor's front
hydraulics.
- Switch off the tractor engine. Disengage the PTO shaft from the
tractor PTO.
- Place the PTO shaft in the hook.
- Depressurise the hydraulic system and disconnect the hydraulic
hose. Slide the dust cap onto the plug.
- Remove the locking pin from the locking hook of the quick hitch.
- Pull back the locking hook and lower the tractor's hydraulics until
the quick hitch is only just clear of the three-point hitch. Pay
attention to the PTO shaft.
- Carefully reverse the tractor in a straight line until the
quick hitch is no longer underneath the three-point hitch.
