Overview

The Lenco MCR-113 is a versatile solar-crank emergency radio designed for non-professional use, offering a range of functions for various situations. It features a four-band radio, an LED flashlight, an SOS alarm, and an emergency charger, all powered by a built-in rechargeable battery.

Function Description:

The core function of the MCR-113 is its four-band radio, covering FM (87-108 MHz), SW1 (3.2-8.0 MHz), SW2 (8.0-16.0 MHz), and SW3 (16.0-22.0 MHz). Users can select the desired band using the radio band switch (14) and tune into frequencies with the tuning knob (6). For optimal reception, the antenna (1) can be extended. The radio also includes an on/off switch and volume tuning knob (13) for easy control.

Beyond radio, the device integrates an LED flashlight (4) for illumination, activated by pushing the function switch (2) to the appropriate position. In emergency situations, an SOS alarm can be triggered by selecting the SOS function via the same switch.

A key feature of the MCR-113 is its emergency charging capability. It can charge external devices, such as phones, via its USB charging port (9) when the function switch (2) is set to the charging icon.

Usage Features:

The MCR-113 offers multiple ways to power its built-in rechargeable battery:

  1. Solar Panel (3): Place the device under direct sunlight. Solar charging is primarily for emergency situations, as the radio charges slowly under full sunlight. The solar charging indicator (16) will light up when solar charging is recognized.
  2. Hand Crank (10): Rotate the hand crank clockwise or counterclockwise. The charging indicator (19) will illuminate. It's important to rotate the crank in one direction with stable speed to avoid damaging the hand generator.

Battery status is displayed by the rechargeable battery indicator light (19). LED1 (red), LED2 (green), LED3 (green), and LED4 (green) show battery capacity and turn off after 16 seconds. During charging, these LEDs light up in sequence, turning off when fully charged. LED1 flashes when the battery is low.

For private listening, earphones can be plugged into the earphone jack (8). Users are advised to keep the volume at a comfortable level to protect hearing and remain aware of their surroundings.
