1.Turnoffthecomputeranddisconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
2.Removethecomputercover.See“Removingthecomputercover”onpage83.
3.Removethefrontbezel.See“Removingandreinstallingthefrontbezel”onpage84.
4.DisconnectthefrontantennacablefromtheWiFicardmodule.
5.Removethefrontantennaandcablefromthefrontofthecomputer.

Completingthepartsreplacement
Aftercompletingtheinstallationorreplacementforallparts,youneedtoreinstallthecomputercoverand
reconnectcables.Dependingonthepartsyouinstalledorreplaced,youmightneedtoconrmtheupdated
informationintheSetupUtilityprogram.RefertoChapter6“UsingtheSetupUtilityprogram”onpage57
.
Toreinstallthecomputercoverandreconnectcablestoyourcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Makesurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrews
areleftinsideyourcomputer.See“LocatingmajorFRUsandCRUs”onpage71forthelocationsof
variouscomponentsinyourcomputer.
2.Makesurethatthecablesareroutedcorrectly.Keepcablesclearofthehingesandsidesofthe
computerchassistoavoidinterferencewithclosingthecomputercover.
