theclarityoftheimageonthescreen;trythemonlyafteryouhaveexhausted
othermethodsofreducingglare.

yourmonitorscreenperiodicallyusingasoftclothasdirectedinyourmonitor
documentation.
Aircirculation
Yourcomputerandmonitorproduceheat.Thecomputerhasafanthatpullsin
freshairandforcesouthotair.Themonitorletshotairescapethroughvents.
Blockingtheairventscancauseoverheating,whichmightresultinamalfunction
ordamage.Placethecomputerandmonitorsothatnothingblockstheairvents;
usually,51mm(2inches)ofairspaceissufcient.Also,makesurethevented
airisnotblowingonpeople.
Electricaloutletsandcablelengths
Thelocationofelectricaloutlets,thelengthofpowercordsandcablesthat
connecttothemonitor,printer,andotherdevicesmightdeterminethenal
placementofyourcomputer.
Whenarrangingyourworkspace:
•Avoidtheuseofextensioncords.Whenpossible,plugthecomputerpower
corddirectlyintoanelectricaloutlet.
•Keeppowercordsandcablesneatlyroutedawayfromwalkwaysandother
areaswheretheymightgetkickedaccidentally.
