name,phonenumbers,address,ande-mailaddress.Lenovowillusethis
informationtoperformserviceunderthiswarrantyandtoimproveourbusiness
relationshipwithyou.Wemaycontactyoutoinquireaboutyoursatisfaction
regardingourwarrantyserviceortonotifyyouaboutanyproductrecallsorsafety
issues.Inaccomplishingthesepurposes,wemaytransferyourinformationtoany
countrywherewedobusinessandmayprovideittoentitiesactingonourbehalf.
Wemayalsodiscloseitwhererequiredbylaw.
WhatthisWarrantyDoesnotCover
Thiswarrantydoesnotcoverthefollowing:
•uninterruptedorerror-freeoperationofaproduct;
•lossof,ordamageto,yourdata;
•anysoftwareprograms,whetherprovidedwiththeproductorinstalled
subsequently;
•failureordamageresultingfrommisuse,accident,modication,unsuitable
physicaloroperatingenvironment,naturaldisasters,powersurges,or
impropermaintenancebyyou;
•damagecausedbyanon-authorizedserviceprovider;
•failureof,ordamagecausedby,anythirdpartyproducts,includingthosethat
LenovomayprovideorintegrateintotheLenovoproductatyourrequest;and
•anytechnicalorothersupport,suchasassistancewith"how-to"questions
andthoseregardingproductset-upandinstallation.
Thiswarrantyisvoidedbyremovaloralterationofidenticationlabelsonthe
productoritsparts.
LimitationofLiability
Lenovoisresponsibleforlossordamagetoyourproductonlywhileitis:1)inyour
ServiceProvider'spossession;or2)intransitinthosecaseswheretheService
Providerisresponsibleforthetransportation.
NeitherLenovonoryourServiceProviderisresponsibleforanyofyourdata
includingcondential,proprietary,orpersonaldatacontainedinaproduct.You
shouldremoveand/orbackupallsuchinformationfromtheproductpriortoits
serviceorreturn.
Circumstancesmayarisewhere,becauseofadefaultonLenovo'spartorother
liability,youmaybeentitledtorecoverdamagesfromLenovo.Ineachsuch
instance,regardlessofthebasisofyourclaimagainstLenovo(includingbreach,
negligence,misrepresentation,orothercontractortortclaim),exceptandtothe
extentthatliabilitycannotbewaivedorlimitedbyapplicablelaws,Lenovoshall
notbeliableformorethantheamountofactualdirectdamagessufferedbyyou,
uptotheamountyoupaidfortheproduct.Thislimitdoesnotapplytodamages
