administrator.

Aharddiskdrivebooterror(errorcodes1962andI999030X)canhavethefollowingcauses.
Note:Forcomputermodelsthatdonothaveaninternalharddiskdriveandusearemoteharddiskdrive
accessedthroughtheSMC-StorageArray,contactthenetworkorstorageadministrator.
ErrorFRU/Action
Thestart-updriveisnotinthebootsequencein
conguration.
Checkthecongurationandensurethestart-updriveis
inthebootsequence.
Nooperatingsysteminstalledonthebootdrive.Installanoperatingsystemonthebootdrive.
Thebootsectoronthestart-updriveiscorrupted.
Thedrivemustbeformatted.Dothefollowing:
1.Attempttoback-upthedataonthefailingharddisk
drive.
2.Usingtheoperatingsystemprograms,formatthe
harddiskdrive.
Thedriveisdefective.
Replacetheharddiskdrive.
PowerSupplyProblems
