features,includingcontrollingloginaccess,accesstosharedresources,networkaccess,andindividualuser

SettinguptheintegratedSecurityChip
Dependingonthemodelofyourcomputer,thekeyboardmighthaveanembeddedSecurityChip,a
cryptographicmicroprocessor.WiththeSecurityChipandtheClientSecuritySolutionprogram,your
computerwillhaveahigherlevelofsecurityacrossthelocalnetwork,theenterprise,ortheInternet.orthe
Internet.ThefollowingarethekeyfeaturesoftheClientSecuritySolutionprogram:
•SecuredataencryptiontoprotectagainstunauthorizedaccesstocondentialmateriallocatedonyourPC.
•Keyencryptiontohelpensureprivacy.

•ClearSecurityChip:clearstheencryptionkey.

•MakesurethattheAdministratorPasswordhasbeensetintheSetupUtilityprogram.Otherwiseanyone
canchangethesettingsfortheSecurityChip.
•IfyouareusingtheClientSecuritySolutionprogram,handletheSecurityChipasfollows:
–DonotcleartheSecurityChip.Otherwise,thefunctionsassignedtothekeyswillbeerased.
–DonotdisabletheSecurityChip.Otherwise,theClientSecuritySolutionprogramwillnotwork.
