Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoopenthecomputercover.
CAUTION:
Turnoffthecomputerandwaitthreetoveminutestoletthecomputercoolbeforeopening
thecomputercover.
Toopenthecomputercover,dothefollowing:
1.Removeanymediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.
2.Disconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
3.Disconnectthepowercords,Input/Outputcables,andanyothercablesthatareconnectedtothe
computer.See“Locatingconnectorsonthefrontofyourcomputer”onpage7and“Locating

4.Removeanylockingdevicethatsecuresthecomputercover,suchasanintegratedcablelock.See

5.Pressthecover-releasebuttononthebackofthecomputerandpivotthecomputercoverupward.
