5. Use the IPMI command to ramp up the fan speed to the full fan speed to see whether the issue can be
resolved.
Note: The IPMI raw command should only be used by trained technician and the each system has its
own specific PMI raw command.
6. Check the management processor event log for rising temperature events. If there are no events, the
server is running within normal operating temperatures. Note that you can expect some variation in
temperature.

Software problems
Use this information to solve software problems.
1. To determine whether the problem is caused by the software, make sure that:
• The server has the minimum memory that is needed to use the software. For memory requirements,
see the information that comes with the software.
Note: If you have just installed an adapter or memory, the server might have a memory-address
conflict.
• The software is designed to operate on the server.
• Other software works on the server.
• The software works on another server.
2. If you receive any error messages while you use the software, see the information that comes with the
software for a description of the messages and suggested solutions to the problem.
3. Contact your place of purchase of the software.
SIM selection and APN settings (Japan)
Use this section to understand how to select the SIM plan and configure the APN settings.
The following tips describe the type of SIM card that the server supports and other information that you must
consider when you buy or install a SIM card:
• SE350 only supports Nano-SIM card form-factor. Standard SIM and Micro-SIM are not supported.
• SE350 only supports 4G (LTE). 2G, 3G, and 5G are not supported.
• SE350 only supports native SIM. IOT and MVNO SIM are not supported.
• SE350 only supports USIM. ISIM is not supported.
• Make sure the SIM card includes a Data Plan service.
• Obtain the APN, User name, Password, and Authentication Protocol information from your carrier or SIM
provider.
• Perform a factory reset to the wireless enabled LOM package before configuring the APN settings. Login
to the XCC web UI, then navigate to “Edge Network” -> “Reset to Factory Default”.
Note: Wireless enabled LOM package with firmware versions earlier than 1.01 (hyl404p) requires adding
specific commands for the SIMs in Japan. Please contact Lenovo for details.
