Riser 3 requires four processors: Riser 3 (upper right riser) draws power from the Processor &
Memory Expansion Tray. As a result, four processors must be selected if a Riser 3 riser is selected
The following figure shows Riser 3 (upper right riser) with two x8 slots. As shown, the riser also includes an
integrated cooling fan. The figure also shows the x16 board that provides one x16 slot as well as an
auxiliary power connector for high-powered GPUs.
