Conversion of modulation of dancer-Position controller
to
field
frequency
Code Cl 91
is
a calibration factor which is used
to
convert the
modulation of the dancer-Position controller into a frequency. The
unit
of
this
code
is
mHz/%.
That means that the user assigns the
corresponding field frequency with 1% modulation of the dancer-
Position
controller.
Example:
With Cl 91 = 290
mHz/%,
100% modulation of the dancer-Position
controller corresponds to a field frequency of 29 Hz.

Limitation of the modulation of the dancer-Position controller
The frequency which is determined by the modulation of the
dancer-Position controller and the factor programmed
under
Cl 91,
tan
be limited
to
permissible
values
under
code
C192. For
this,
a
field frequency is entered
under
code
Cl92 which
limits
the
calculated value to the
“armsture
setting range”
(that
is the
frequency range from
OHz
to the
V/f-rated
frequency C015)
In the “field weakening range” (frequency range from the V/f-rated
frequency CO1 5
t0
fmax CO1 1) the
Slip
of the
machine
is increased
and
t
he field frequency is increased by the same factor squared.
Therefore, the increase of the limitation depends on the field
frequency.
The Ilimitation variable is calculated as follows:

Diameter compensator
The
diameter
compensator compensates errors
that
occur slowly
(e.g. unlinerarity of the
ultrasonic
Sensor).
If the dancer-Position controller output exceeds the threshold set
under
Cl 94
(trigger
diameter
compensator), a ramp generator
is
activated and counts from zero on. This
counter
Signal
is added to
the
diameter
Signal
and
thus,
the value falls below the threshold set
und,er
Cl 94. As a
result,
the
diameter
Signal
increases when
exceeding the positive threshold and thus the field frequency CO50
decreases.
The
diameter
Signal
is increased if the value falls below
the negative threshold
-
which has the same magnitude as the
positive threshold.
