Safe homing (SHom)
Safety funcons based on ab
solute posions require an absolute reference point to calculate
and monitor the posion. This reference point is dened via the reference run.
The home posion is the absolute reference point for these safety funcons:
Safely-limited posion (SLP) ^ 135
Posion-dependent safe speed (PDSS) ^ 136
Safe cam (SCA) ^ 141
During the reference run, the drive moves exclusively at a safely limited speed that can be
parameterized (SLS1 ... SLS4). When the reference posion is traversed, the parameterized
posion value is adopted as the "Home Posion".
By parameterizaon it can be set whether the current posion is stored non-volalely when
the voltage supply is switched o. If the restart condions are fullled aer the voltage supply
is switched on again and aer a minimum movement (minireference run), no new reference
run is performed.

DANGER!
When switched o
, the motor posion must not be changed by external forces.
A change in motor posion will result in injury or even death.
Make sure that the motor posion does not change.
NOTICE
Undetected local change of the home posion.
An unr
ecognized local change of the home posion leads to incorrect values of the absolute
posion.
Mount the components for detecng the reference posion mechanically so that the home
posion cannot change due to external inuences.
