LENGTH
OF
STITCH
The
stitch
is
regulated
by
the
knob
No.

(Plate
3).

on
top
of
the
arm

machine

the

First
open
the
top
cover
of
machine
to
observe
the
feed
indicator
on
the
shaft.
with
numerals
which
indicate
number
of
stitches
per
inch.
Press
down
the
feed
knob
located
on
top
of
the
machine,
which
will
engage
a
slot
in
the
feed
mechanism.
Now,
turn
the
handwheel
over
and
away
from
you
while
hold-
ing
the
knob
in
the
slot
to
lengthen
stitch,
and
toward
you
to
shorten
stitch.
Observe
through
the
opening
in
the
top
of
arm
the
numbers
on
the
feed
disc
as
you
turn
until
the
numeral,
indicating
stitches
per
inch.
