To clear an ADF paper jam, follow these steps.
1. Open the ADF top cover.
2. Lift the green separator roll release lever to the up position. Do not remove the separator roll.
3. Pull the paper from the ADF assembly. Pull the paper in the direction of the ADF paper tray.
