Printer-to-Computer Communication (Advanced Status)
The printer supports:
• Compatibility mode
• Nibble mode
• Byte mode
• ECP mode
When a parallel connection exists, the printer also supports a Device ID function.
When queried for its ID, the printer returns the following information:
• Manufacturer
• Command set
• Model of printer
