Steep hills always pose a challenge, which is why the GX employs a highly evolved technology called Downhill Assist Control (DAC)

. When
descending steep grades, one touch of a button instructs DAC to administer braking as needed to maintain an even speed of descent. All you need to
do is steer. The GX is also equipped with Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)

. HAC helps control the GX from rollback during that brief moment when
your foot travels from brake to accelerator before beginning an ascent.
