Lexus Personalized Settings
Your vehicle includes a variety of electronic features that can be programmed to your
preferences. Programming of these features is performed once at no charge by your
Lexus Dealer provided you obtain the service at the 6-month/5,000-mile scheduled
maintenance service.
It is also possible to customize certain vehicle features yourself using the navigation
system.
Settings that can be customized by:
Using the
navigation system
Dealer
LPS options were correct at time of development. All options are subject to change without prior notice.
Vehicles with Navigation system:
Press the button.
Select
and push knob to select.
Select category and scroll
to specific customization
setting.

Door Lock Settings
1. Auto Lock by Speed
When the vehicle reaches 13 mph:
□The doors will not lock (Standard) = Off
□All the doors will automatically lock = On
2. Auto Lock by Shift from Park
When the vehicle is shifted out of Park into another position:
□The doors will not automatically lock = Off
□The doors automatically lock (Standard) = On
3. Auto Unlock by Shift to Park
When the engine is running and the vehicle is placed into Park:
□Allthe doors will remain locked = Off
□Allthe doors will automatically unlock (Standard) = On
4. Auto Unlock by Driver Door
When the vehicle is turned off and the driver door is opened within 10 seconds:
□All other doors will remain locked (Standard) = Off
□Allother doors will automatically unlock = On
5. Remote 2-Press Unlock
When using the electronic key to unlock the doors:
□Pressing the unlock button one time will unlock all doors = Off
□Pressing the unlock button one time unlocks the driver door, and two times unlocks all
doors (Standard) = On
6. Select Doors to Unlock
When using Smart Access to unlock the doors:
□Gripping outside driver door handle will unlock drivers door. (Standard) = Driver’s door
□Gripping outside driver door handle will unlock all doors. = All doors
7. Access System with Electronic Key
Unlock the doors with:
□
Electronic key unlock button. This deactivates Smart Access = OFF
□Smart Access (touch door handle) or remote buttons. (Standard) = On
8. Auto Relock Timer
When the unlock button on the electronic key is presssed and the doors are not opened:
□They will automatically relock in 120 seconds.
□They will automatically relock in 60 seconds. (Standard)
□They will automatically relock in 30 seconds.
□OFF-Doorswill NOT automatically relock.
9. Lock/Unlock Feedback - Lights
When the lock or unlock button on the electronic key is pressed:
□Lights will not flash. = Off
□Lock button makes lights flash once/Unlock button makes lights flash twice. (Standard)
10. Lock/Unlock Feedback - Tone
When the lock button is pressed on the electronic key, the system volume can be
programmed as follows:

11. Auto A/C Mode
When Auto A/C is selected:
□It will automatically engage the air conditioner compressor to reach the set temperature
(Standard) = On
□It will automatically achieve a set temperature (warm or cool) without engaging the air
conditioner compressor = Off*
*The AC compressor will be engaged when the auto AC button is pressed a second time.
Light Settings
12. Headlights ON - Sensitivity
The front headlights can be programmed to turn ON under varying degrees of ambient light
conditions (headlight switch must be in the AUTO mode):

13. Headlights Auto-OFF Timer
After turning off the engine, if doors are closed and headlights are ON or in the AUTO position:
□The headlights will turn off in 90 seconds.
□The headlights will turn off in 60 seconds.
□The headlights will turn off in 30 seconds. (Standard)
□The headlights will turn off immediately when the vehicle is turned off and the driver door
is opened.
14. Daytime Running Lights
Illumination of daytime running lights:
□OFF
□ON (Standard)
15. Interior Lights-Off Timer
After closing the door, the interior lights can be adjusted to stay on for the following:
□30 seconds
□15 seconds (Standard)
□7.5 seconds
□0 seconds
16. Exterior Lights-Off Timer
After closing the door, the exterior lights can be adjusted to stay on for the following:
□30 seconds
□15 seconds (Standard)
□7.5 seconds
□0 seconds
Other Vehicle Settings
17. Lane Change Signal Flashes
Push turn signal lever partway to signal a lane change. Signal will flash:
□OFF
□3 Times (Standard)
□4 Times
□5 Times
□6 Times
□7 Times
Programmable by Dealer Only
18. Unlock on Second Key Turn
When using the mechanical key to unlock the doors:
□Turning the key one time will unlock all doors = Off
□Turning the key one time unlocks the driver door, and two times unlocks all doors
(Standard) = On
19. Efficient Ventilation Mode
When the front defogger is activated:
□It will automatically blow air onto the windshield without engaging the air conditioner
compressor = Off
□It will automatically engage the air conditioner compressor to blow air onto the
windshield (Standard) = On

20. Instrument Dimming Sensitivity
Level of light at which the instrument panel lights will dim:

Level of light at which the instrument panel lights will brighten:
22. Open Windows with Electronic Key
When unlock button on the electronic key is pressed for 3 seconds:
□The windows will not open (Standard) = Off
□All the windows will open = On
23. Open Windows Warning*
When unlock button on the electronic key is pressed for 3 seconds to roll down the
windows:
□Buzzer will not sound = Off
□Buzzer will sound (Standard) = On
* Option #22 must be on.
24. Open Windows Using Mechanical Key
When using the mechanical key to operate the windows:
□Turning the key right and holding the position for 2 seconds will not open the windows
(Standard) = Off
□Turning the key right and holding the position for 2 seconds will open the windows = On
25. Close Windows with Mechanical Key
When using the mechanical key to operate windows and moonroof:
□Turning the key right and holding the position for 2 seconds will not close the windows
(Standard) = Off
□Turning the key right and holding the position for 2 seconds will close the windows = On
26. Interior Light
The interior light will illuminate when POWER is switched to OFF.
□On (Standard) = On
□Off = Off
27. Illumination of the Interior Cabin Light when Unlocking Door
When using the electronic key or mechanical key to unlock the door, the interior cabin light
can be programmed for the following:
□The cabin light will illuminate (Standard) = On
□The cabin light will not illuminate = Off
28. Illumination of the Interior Cabin Light when Approaching the Vehicle
When approaching the vehicle with the electronic key, the interior cabin light can be
programmed for the following:
□The cabin light will illuminate (Standard) = On
□The cabin light will not illuminate = Off

29.Center Console Spot Light
The center console spot light
will illuminate when POWER is in ACCESSORY mode:
□On (Standard)
□Off
30. Foot Lights
When using the electronic key to unlock doors:
The outer foot lights will illuminate (Standard) = On
The outer foot lights will not illuminate = Off
31. Panic Mode
When pressing the panic button on the electronic key:
□The alarm will sound intermittently and the vehicle lights will flash (Standard) = On
□The alarm will not sound and the vehicle lights will not flash = Off
32. Door Lock Buzzer
When the lock button on the electronic key is pressed, and a door is not fully closed:
The buzzer will sound (Standard) = On
The buzzer will not sound = Off
33. Driver Seat Belt Reminder
When the vehicle reaches 12 mph:
The driver seat belt buzzer will sound (Standard) = On
The driver seat belt buzzer will not sound = Off
34. Passenger Seat Belt Reminder
When the vehicle reaches 12 mph:
The passenger seat belt buzzer will sound (Standard) = On
The passenger seat belt buzzer will not sound = Off
35. Reverse Beep Alert
When vehicle is put into reverse, the interior reverse beep alert can be set to the following:
Beep continuously (Standard) = On
Beep once = Off
