CHILD PROTECTOR LOCK
Check that the rear door cannot be opened by the inside
door handle but can be opened by the outside door handle
when the child protector is in the locked position.
POWER WINDOW
With the “ENGINE” switch in the “IG-ON” mode, operate the
power window switch. Check that the power window up and
down operation is smooth.
SEAT BELT
Check seat belt operation.
a ) Check that the belt extends and retracts smoothly.
b ) Check that the belt length is not twisted.
c ) Check that the buckle locks securely and releases
smoothly.
d ) Check that the adjustable seat belt anchor operates
properly and that it securely locks in position.
SEAT ADJUSTMENT
Check that the seat slides smoothly, reclines properly and
locks securely in any position.
a ) Head Restraint Adjustment
Up
Pull the head restraints up.
Down
Push the head restraint down while pressing the lock
release button.
b ) Second row seats
1. Folding down the second row seatbacks
(1) Lower the head restraints to the lowest position.
(2) Pull the seatback lock release lever and fold the
seats down.
