■ When setting REC Quality
The sound quality of is lower than that of . However, more tracks
can be recorded using “Good” because the file size is smaller.
■ Recording will be canceled and the track being recorded will be deleted when
● The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is turned to OFF mode while recording.
● The audio switch is turned OFF while recording.
● The audio disc being recorded is ejected, or another disc is selected using the
DVD player.
● “Auto REC” is switched from to on the “REC Settings” screen.
● , or is operated, fast forwarding or rewinding is performed, or
the track is changed during automatic normal speed recording.
● The file size of the track being recorded exceeds the available HDD space.
■ Information while and after recording

ual recording. Fast forwarding and rewinding are also not possible.

● When you are recording a CD with no track intervals (such as a live concert
CD), the sound may break in a track when the music data is played back.
● Make sure to check the recording operation before recording and check the
recorded contents after recording.
● Recording is not guaranteed for all CDs.
