Rear step bumper
The rear step bumper is for rear
end protection and easier step-up
loading.
■ The power back door can be opened/closed when
● The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION ON mode, and the shift
lever is in P, and lower side of the back door is closed.
● The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in OFF or ACCESSORY mode, and
lower side of the back door is closed.
■ When closing the back door
● Make sure that the lower side of the back door is closed before closing the
upper side of the back door.
■ If the back door opener is inoperative

● Lower the back door using the back door
handle, and make sure to push the back
door down from the outside to close it.
● The buzzer sounds once when the power
back door closer begins to close the lower
side of the back door.
