customer. We recommend that you map out a specic road test course that includes a variety of road
conditions including stop and go, highway speed and rough road surfaces. This will help you check for
squeaks, rattles, drifts, pulls and a variety of other conditions that must be corrected prior to delivery.
NOTE:
Make sure protective covers are in place on the seats and carpet prior to starting the road test.

b)Checkthattheshiftlevercannotbemovedfromthe“P”
 positionwithoutdepressingthebrakepedal.
c)Checkforsmoothup-shiftanddown-shiftoperationover 
 abroadrangeofdrivingconditions.
d)Checkforsmoothup-shiftanddown-shiftoperation 
 whentheshiftleverisinthe“S”range.
 •Checkthatthetransmissionshiftsupwhentheshift 
  leverismovedfront.
 •Checkthatthetransmissionshiftsdownwhentheshift 
  leverismovedback.
