A04. CHECK DOOR LOCK SYS-
TEM AND ILLUMINATED EN-
TRY SYSTEM
a ) Check that all doors open and close
smoothly using the inside and outside
door handles.
b ) Check that the doors cannot be opened
by using the inside and outside door
handles when the lock button is in the
locked position.
c ) Check exterior key lock control system
operation by mechanical key (with driv-
er's door).
NOTE:
The following is how to remove and store the
mechanical key.
• To remove the mechanical key.
Electronic key: Release the lock and pull
the key out.
Card key*: Push and hold the button, and
pull the key out.
• To store the mechanical key
Electronic key: Slide and hold the release
knob, and insert the key.
Card key*: Push and hold the button, and
insert the key.
Locks all doors
Closes the windows and moon roof.
(Turn and hold)
Unlocks the door (two-step unlock
function):
1. Turn the key once to unlock the driv-
er's door.
2. Turn the key twice to unlock all the
doors.
Opens the windows and moon roof.
(Turn and hold)
