d ) Check the illuminated entry system op-
eration. The following lights will illumi-
nate when the door is opened:
Front personal lights
Front and rear No.1 interior lights
Rear personal lights
Rear No.2 interior lights
Shift lever lighting
Inside door handle light
Door courtesy lighting
Engine switch lighting
Footwell lighting
Luggage compartment light
Outer foot lights
Running board lights
A05. CHECK SMART ACCESS
SYSTEM
a ) With electronic key within the vehicle,
push the lock button on the outside door
handle and check that the buzzer
sounds and that the door does not lock.
b ) Take the electronic key and get out of the
vehicle. Push the lock button on the out-
side door handle and check that the door
locks.
c ) From a distance of at least 1 m (3.28 ft),
approach the vehicle and pull the out-
side door handle of left and right sides
and the back door button. Check that the
door unlocks.
NOTE:
The doors cannot be unlocked for 3 sec-
onds after the doors are locked.
d ) Check that the back door is unlocked by
pushing the back door button.
