Check tilt and telescopic steering wheel op-
eration.
a ) Manual Switch Operation
Tilt Steering Wheel:
With the engine switch in the “ACC“ or “IG-
ON“ mode, push the control switch up or
down to set the steering wheel in the desired
height position.
Telescopic Steering Wheel:
With the engine switch in the “ACC“ or “IG-
ON“ mode, push the control switch up or
down to set the steering wheel in the desired
position.
b ) Automatic Tilt-away Operation
• When the engine switch is switched to the
"OFF" mode, the steering column moves
forward away from the driver and also tilts
up.
• When the engine switch is switched to the
“ACC“ or "IG-ON" mode, the steering col-
umn returns to the previously set position.
